It is ironic how we are all born free but most of us live as slaves. Over 90% of the world lives as slaves. Slave to stuff, that is.
Getting money is easy. I can assure you that if you spent a year learning how to be a millionaire, soon you will be a millionaire. There is so much money in the world, but so little freedom. We as humans have actually designed a system of ever increasing wants that we have robbed ourselves of our freedom. The purpose of money is to provide security and happiness, not just to buy more stuff.
One of the few ways to use your money to buy your freedom back is to simplify your life. The fact is that we don’t need over 70% of what we buy. Can you imagine how much freedom you can actually buy with over 70% of your money? Living a simple life is a way to provide security, freedom and happiness. Don’t get me wrong, we need money to live, we just don’t need to live for money.
